Palko played for his dad in high school. He played ahead of Flacco at Pitt only because his dad was the coach of a high school team in the WPIAL. Wannstadt thought Palko’s dad would cause Pitt to lose WPIAL players to other programs if he played Flacco over Palko. Good luck, KC. Tamba, you deserve better. Come play for the Steelers.
