Pacman faces no jail time in Vegas after recent arrest

pacmanx-large

Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones, after an impressively extended period of not being arrested, found himself in trouble earlier this year in Cincinnati, charged with disorderly conduct at a local bar.

The fact that he remains on probation in Las Vegas after that infamous make-it-rain shootout created a separate potential problem for Pacman. But the authorities in Nevada have decided not to try to put Pacman in the pokey, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal (via the Washington Post).

The local district attorney agreed to take another 75 hours of community service onto Jones’ prior obligation of 200 hours.

Jones still faces trial in Ohio on pending misdemeanor charges, along with possible discipline by the NFL. Jones is one of the eight players who are subject to discipline for off-field misconduct occurring during the lockout.
