The Pats’ D has been looking better as of late. What is of the greatest concern is that in two of their losses the D faltered in the last minutes of winnable games. The D playing clutch in the 4th quarter will probably be the most critical concern when playoff time comes.

“Title crazed”? He should try giving people the titles that they are performing, instead of shortchanging them by holding them back in the job market. Only a COWARDLY manager (head coach) holds back his people in regards to their personal advancement opportunities. Then again, someone like you, CKL, probably is totally satisfied with your “Assistant Fry Cook” title, though you are in actuality the only fry cook in the entire McDonald’s where you work. You should march right into your Manager’s office (or Assistant Manager, if he is also being shortchanged titlewise by the franchise owner) and demand that “Head Fry Cook” title that you have worked so hard for this past decade. Go get ‘em, CKL. Prove to “The Man” that your lack of a high school diploma won’t stop you from insisting that you can’t be pushed around.

Most wins and losses hinge on just a play or two. Including all three of the Pats Super Bowl wins. Get over your whining, crybaby loser. The Giants were the better team, which is why they won the game. BOTH times (2007 SB and 2011 regular season).

If one looks back at the games played earlier in the season you will notice that the coaches had the players in the right position most of the game. Poor tackling, lack of ball awareness, slow reaction to movement and a failure to work hard the entire game would cause any defense problems.

The problem with the Pats defense isn’t play calling per se–I don’t find myself questioning specific plays all that often watching the games. It’s talent, or a lack thereof.

Matt Pat was a great center at RPI, and became a graduate assistant. He is a heck of guy and comes from coaching family. Oh and he graduated with and aerospace engineering degree from one of the best engineering schools in America.. Rocket Science Defense..

Or maybe some would say that the execution could be better by the players on the field with the plays being called by the coaching staff.

The D’s play was a lot more nasty, aggressive and consistent Sunday night – so hats off to the coaches for their play calling and the players for their execution (for one week, anyway).
