as a packer fan i will spot the rest of you chad clifton tj lang and morgan burnett as not being deserving of those leading votes, although lang has played well. but if anyone on here is complaining about desmond bishop, then you just dont get football. i get it, patrick willis is the best ilb in football, and navorro bowman is playing out of his mind. however, there are only three lbs in the nfl with more tackles than bishop this season. curtis lofton has one more with 85, bowman has 92, and pat angerer has 105 as per nfl.com. bishop has 84 tackles with FIVE sacks from his inside linebacker spot. the combined sack total of bowman, lofton and angerer? ZERO. maybe THAT has something to do with it, or maybe all of you are right its probably just because he plays for the packers, what do i know. and for the record rodgers, kuhn, jennings, wells, crosby, woodson and even jarrett bush are all deserving of being the “leading vote getters” up to this point. jarrett bush has evolved from a nightmare to a very good special teamer/spot duty player (see super bowl xlv). in conclusion, desmond bishop isnt the best (willis is) but he is damn good, and will be a pro bowler whether you like it or not.

Why all the complaining about all the Packers getting voted for the Pro Bowl? None of them will be playing in it anyway because they’ll be defending their Lombardi 1 week later also going for history @ 19-0.

Desmond Bishop has been a playmaker since he took over for nick barnett, but I guess since he’s not a 1st round draft pick or a 99 rated madden player, no one thinks he deserves the nod over patrick willis…. smh.

Suh is over rated, I would take Justin Smith over Suh any day. I see lions fans saying that he gets tripple and double covered.. pshh. here’s a fact for you.. the niners ran straight at him with only Walker or Davis blocking… yes… a TE blocked him out of the plays. SUH it!

Without having to read/see who is on top of the list, I’m going to take a random guess as to which players I expect to be named again for pure name recognition and not for team success this season.

1. Tony Romo
2. Chris Johnson
3. Adrian Peterson
4. Philip Rivers
5. Suh
6. Merriweather ( oh wait he ain’t with pats anymore)
7. Roy Williams -S ( oh wait he never went back after leaving Dallas)

Darren McFadden should be in there.. He gets injured atleast a month a season… But that didn’t stop

The game itself is a joke.

Like others have said. Just name the teams.
Give them badges to wear on their uniforms the following year.

Fly them to the site of the Superbowl during media week, and have them be on hand. It’s a nice perk. Get a ‘team photo’ if you want..

That’s a lot better solution than what they’re currently doing.

the only person on the packers defense that should be leading in probowl votes is woodson i desmond bishop over willis or even bowman and lets not forget about justin smith at dt sorry packers d is hella crappy look at where there defense rank goes to show you that the fans shouldn’t vote

Seriously? The Pro-Bowl? Its about as exciting as the High School All American game. Make that game MEAN SOMETHING! Baseball has it right where it means home field advantage in the playoffs. Winner of the ProBowl has its conference representative host the SuperBowl that year. For example, if the Packers are in the SB and the NFC won the ProBowl then the SuperBowl is at Lambeau. Simple as that. Hey, if baseball can do it with no lead time then so can football.

We all know the Pro Bowl is a complete joke. It’s decided by the fans. We should, in turn, treat it like a joke. We need to be voting for Dolphins, Rams, Browns, and Vikings! How funny would it be to see Gruden trying to talk up Matt Moore during the game? (Not sure which network it’s on, but it would be quite comical).

They would take it more seriously and actually play to win. Think about it. The fans picked the worst players/performers from the year and made them battle it out to see who is the worst roster possible.

as a huge Packer fan I absolutely cannot believe that people would actually vote for Jarrett Bush. That deserves to be on the weekly ‘Cmon Man’ segment. I cringe everytime I see him on the field because he sucks. When I heard Nick Collins was out for the year, I was more upset that we would see more Jarrett Bush on the field. BOO THIS MAN! (half baked voice)

I’m sure Desmond Bishop has the ILB position in the Pro Bowl all wrapped up over Willis.

Obviously there is nothing better to do in WI than vote a hundred times on every Packer for the PB.

As far as packers in the pro bowl, I’ll pick Rodgers, Jennings, Woodson, and Crosby off the top of my head. There are others I would consider but would have to do a little research (I probably take this stuff a little to seriously). I’d look into voting for Wells, Bishop, and Matthews.

Sitton played at a pro bowl level last year, but his play isn’t at that level this year. Lang is playing at about the same level Colledge did last year and must be getting sympathy votes for getting kicked in the Jimmy. Kuhn probably plays about 15 to 20 offensive snaps a game, so I don’t see how that justifies a pro bowl vote. If that is the going rate for snaps played by a fullback, the position probably should be eliminated from pro bowl consideration. Morgan has played well, but I don’t think at a pro bowl level for a safety and Clifton hasn’t played in more than a month.

just let the packers play the afc in the pro bowl, thats what it looks like anyways
