Texans tackle Eric Winston, who we think should be headed to his first Pro Bowl this year, was a guest on PFT Live Friday.
(Yes, we’d think he should be headed to the Pro Bowl even if he wasn’t on PFT Live.)
While Winston is enjoying his bye week on top of the AFC South, the injury to quarterback Matt Schaub has raised questions about Houston’s long-term viability. Florio asked Winston if he thought the Texans were cursed.
Winston laughed, but understood the point.
“At any point it seems like we’re about to get over the hump, something happens and we don’t,” Winston said. “But I still feel like it’s our year. We’re 7-3 right and we’re playing extremely well. And for the first time since I’ve been here, we’re playing extremely balanced.”
