The chances of Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones playing against the Titans on Sunday are looking bleaker after Jones missed practice on Friday.
He’s officially listed as questionable after reinjuring his hamstring in last week’s loss to the Saints, but it seems unwise to push him back onto the field so quickly if the team doesn’t want to run the risk of making things even worse. Even though this weekend’s game is a big one for the Falcons’ playoff hopes, the chance that Jones can help them more down the road should be the bigger factor in the decision making.
They should have Harry Douglas in the lineup. He’s listed as probable with a thigh injury. Linebacker Curtis Lofton is probable as well, while safety William Moore has been ruled out with a quadriceps injury.
