theytukrjobs says:

Tebow definately has a flair for the dramatic and plays his best at the end of games. But lost in all this is the fact that overall a Tebow-led offense has been pretty darn terrible and is being held up by some terrific defensive plays.

They punted 8 times in a row and were down only 13-10. Seriously. Their defense is winning these games, not Tebow.

Then again maybe Tebow makes the D better

**************************

Ding ding ding...

Ball control, low risk, and yes the D is playing better. Denver had a few drives fail as well since Fox for some reason always takes points off the board and Willis's fumble. Guy's who never make plays are making plays. That was Goodmans first pick six ever. He's like 32. You can give Tim a real fair judgement next yr after a off season people.

Another thing seeing all these Jets fans complaints. You got a dose of your own medicine tonight. Got beat up and you didn't like it.. Von Miller ksiked your trash! Sucks being in your shoes.. Why? Because the last few yrs more like 5-6 have been that way for Denver. So I'm a hypocrite in a way. But for real bad game with a dramatice ending. Football's fun!

Super Bowl ready D?? I admit they're good, and probably better than good, but they've given up 30+ 4 times this year. So what if they held the Jags to 3 points...Also, while Sanchez is inconsistent at best, I think you need to give at least some props to the Broncos D for shutting the Jets down. It's not as if Sanchez was sitting back there all day making bad throws with no pressure!

LOL "Who could blame him". What A joke! Make the play you lazy bum. The Jets suck and are a solid product of their blowhard loudmouth coach. I also think its funny that Vick did this garbage for years but now when Lil Timmy runs its the second coming. He is a glorified fullback.

This shouldn't be a surprise. Back when Cromartie was a Charger, a play-off game vs. the Jets, Cromartie did a very similar "ole" to Shonn Greene's long TD run. Since Cromartie is so good at "pulling out of tackles" in the NFL, if he just tried, applying the "pulling out of" method during intamicy, he wouldn't have 9 kids with 8 different women.

Here's where I don't get it:

Tebow was the starting quarterback and won. Got that. But he's being constantly bailed out by his defense. The only touchdown they scored in the first 59 minutes of the game was defensive.

And before all of the "yeah but he got it when it counts", got that too.

Denver's D is being asked to perform a significantly challenging task. So far, they're up for it. But look at the amount of points Denver scores per game. Remember when they lost 45-10 to Detroit? News flash: this was only 7 points more, and 7 came from the defense.

Broncos are winning, and amazingly, are very alive and dangerous in the AFC West. But its not fair to give all of this credit to Tebow when the defense is really doing all of the work.
