Bills lose McGee for season, Donald Jones for three weeks

AP

Unfortunately, we have some injuries to add to another insulting day for the Bills.

Bills coach Chan Gailey said after Sunday’s latest blowout loss that starting cornerback Terrence McGee is likely to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The team is also expected to be without wideout Donald Jones for 3-6 weeks. Jones hurt his ankle Sunday; the Bills are getting very thin at receiver.

There was some good post-game injury news. Fred Jackson, who sat out much of the second half with a calf injury, said he was fine after the game.  Gailey said x-rays on Jackson’s calf were negative.

Buffalo is only one game out of a playoff spot at 5-5, but it feels like their season has spiraled out of control.

I don’t think I could have said it any better.

But I will… Levitre was horrible at center, and the O-Line was terrible. Same story as last week, Fitz had no time. Add to it that there is no pass rush, so the likes of Sanchez, Romo, and Moore look like hall of famers. (the least of these is Sanchez.)

  2. Its over. We are too banged up.

No Kyle Williams, No Shawne Merriman, No Eric Wood, No Terrance McGee, No George Wilson, No WR’s really aside from Stevie and he is playing with one arm. Bell & Hairston still banged up.

I don’t blame Levitre. He’s not a center. He’s a LG and that’s it. Stop shifting him and sign an actual Center. The decision to sign Brad Smith to big money & release Hangartner is looking smart now.

    Shawne Merriman? Seriously?

That’s like saying the lack of Bob Sanders is causing the Chargers’ woes.

  4. Even when they were sitting at 5-2, I think we all knew that defense was living on borrowed time. You can’t rely on 3-4 takeaways each game. Just not sustainable. At least there’s a coach and GM in place that seem to have the arrow pointing up.

  5. Sooooo hard to be a Bills fan. I got the scars to prove it.
What a drag to sit in Sun Life Stadium in a pouring rain watching this mess unfold b4 my eyes.
Raining. Farts from a bad Quiznos for tailgate.
    The only good was:
I was at the game with a buddy.
I had Dogfish Head beer to get loose before the Butt Light at halftime.

Sooooo hard to be a Bills fan…

    Damn…
