In the meantime, Bears should have no problem relying on defense and special teams to hopefully eek out another 3 or 4 wins until Jay gets back. They are far from a one-trick pony. Forte, Urlacher, Peppers, Briggs, Tillman, and Hester will keep the Bears competitive until Cutler returns, no doubt about that.

I’m worried about the Raiders who will be able to eat a lot of clock and frustrate Caleb with a great pass rush. But beyond that, KC at home, @ DEN, Seattle at home…. I expect wins in all of those games. If we only win 2 of them though, we might be able to hang on with a 10th win @ GB (merry christmas) or @ MIN.

So it’s basically the same 10 or 11 wins I expected in preseason. I Keep in mind we have tiebreakers over ATL & PHI, although it will most likely be the Cowboys biting our heels. Oh yea, premature reports mean nothing. Cutler

This is impossible. If both are wild card teams, they will be a 5 and a 6 seed. 5 plays the 4 seed, and 6 plays the 3 seed.

Wildcard teams wouldn’t play each other until the NFC title game.

Put Stafford on the Bears and see how well he does. Heck, look what happens when Calvin Johnson is taken out of the game, like the Bears did last week.

um, maybe you should re-examine what is going to your head. As Rodney Harrison on Sunday Night Football said “Raiders 4-1 on the road is amazing, this team has been DECIMATED with Injuries”.. Try losing one of our best pass rushers to IR in pre season, two starting corners, Michael Huff, starting safety, Seymour a late scratch, Lamar Houston banged up, our starting QB in campbell which cost us three games getting Palmer in and up to speed, and of course at the time the LEADING rusher in the NFL in McFadden… dont even start with Raiders being lucky with the Injuries.
