Julio Jones will miss another game

AP

When Falcons receiver Julio Jones is healthy, he has helped justify the investment that the team made in trading up to get.

Unfortunately, Jones haven’t been healthy much.

A hamstring injury that knocked him out of two games healed enough for him to explode against the Colts, but he aggravated the injury in a loss to the Saints, and he won’t play on Sunday when the Titans enter the Georgia Dome.

Harry Douglas gets the start for Jones against the 5-4 Titans.

It’s unfortunate because when he’s been healthy he’s been all that’s advertised and then some! The biggest problem is that when he’s out there they seem to lose a lot of their balance and Mularkey seems like he’s not quite sure what to do with all the weapons. I’m listening to the Titans game right now and it’s nearly halftime and Jaquizz Rogers hasn’t touched the football yet. Mularkey seems to have an easier time calling plays when he has less to work with. Julio plays and Harry Douglas doesn’t see a pass… If this team ever gets it figured out, they’re gonna be scary!!!

This is why you don’t give up so many picks for 1 player.

Julio always had some sort of injury at Alabama. The Browns robbed Atlanta.

the falcons don’t know how to utilize the guy anyway…matty water doesn’t have the arm to get him the ball on a consistent basis.
