Titans coach Mike Munchak made it clear after Sunday’s loss to Atlanta that there was no quarterback controversy in Tennessee.

“There’s no doubt about that,” Muchak said when asked if Matt Hasselbeck would start next week if healthy.

There is doubt whether Hasselbeck will be healthy enough to face Tampa. Hasselbeck told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean that he would have tests on his elbow tomorrow.

Hasselbeck suffered the injury when he was hit on a throw. Jake Locker replaced him and led the Titans to two touchdowns before Atlanta ran out the clock on the game to win 23-17.

The Titans haven’t looked like a particularly good team since early in the season, but they are only one game behind in the wild card race at 5-5.
