He signed the contract. If he isn’t happy with the rules, I’m sure there are plenty of guys on practice squads and grocery stores across the nation that would be willing to wear the shoes they are supposed to.

Third largest TV market in the nation? Right before the TV contracts are due to renegotiated? Not a chance. The networks would be screaming for Goodell’s head and the owners would fire him within seconds of it happening. TV pays the bills.

They’d just show another game. There’s no way the league would give the impression that the players are running the show. Again, this is a CBA issue. Something like you suggest would be a breach of contract. I think the Bears owners would feel a lot of pressure to do something way before the league would have to, though.

Funny, check the Bal-Cin game…plenty of orange cleats on some Cin players, black on others and I think even some white cleats on a few.

The entire Bear team should wear the same orange shoe as Bennett.

The shoe is orange and so is the uniform color scheme.

@backindasaddle it is part of his team colors! Not every player must have the same cleats, In basketball every player has different shoes, and some arent even same color as uniform

They’d probably forfeit the game. Im pretty sure that uniform rules are covered by the CBA.

A see a lot of yellow on the feet of the redskins right now. Seems like selective enforcement. The rule is that the team color can only accent. So find blk n orange cleats and get some orange athletic tape and wrap your ankles.

Just out of curiosity, what would they do if all the Bears players wore orange? Seeing what a big fan of Goodell Urlacher is (can’t blame him. he’s been right about every complaint), it would be a fun way for the Bears to send a little message to the commish.
