To all the people saying the Bills are second guessing themselves, did you read the article? Nowhere does it say the Bills have any intentions to get out of the deal. All the article says is IF the Bills wanted to ditch Fitzpatrick they could without being hurt too much financially.

Ps, Revenue sharing and the viability of all franchises have been cornerstones of the league since the NFL’s construction. You need an education on how many small market teams benefit from the new CBA, especially WHICH teams benefit. You can achieve this by reading instead of barfing out the same tired dribble on every Bills story.

Fitz is getting a mid-level salary. And, until the O-line was decimated, was earning every penny! Our D is the major problem! How often can you give up 30+(even before they were ailing) and expect to win a game?

You can’t place all the blame on Fitz when he’s not even getting the ball snapped properly. The Bills had no depth at O-Line and it shows now that a few injuries are mounting up.

It’s heartbreaking to see the season get thrown away when it seemed like there was so much promise. I hope we keep Fitz….there is no way the Bills will be able to draft Luck….Fitz is still the second best quarterback in the AFC East….so I hope they try to draft and/or sign some quality linemen to support Fitz and build on what they’ve started this year.

Talkin’ about jumping off the bandwagon. A few weeks ago he was the hidden Harvard prodigy, now people are wondering when he’ll get cut. I guess his Harvard education paid off. He’s guaranteed 10 mil today that he wasn’t guaranteed at the beginning of the season. Smart dude.

@rabid, im well aware of where pears and urbik started the season, and well aware of where they were in pre-season. and well aware of where they were after weeks 4 and 5. i’ve also been levitre’s biggest fan the entire season. he was just as good at LG as he was at LT.
instead of going ticky tack on who was at RG or RT the point needs to be hear regarding the o-line being entirely different than earlier in the year. this is a fact. and this would be a plaguing problem for any team in the NFL.
so when some yahoo barfs out some dribble about how Fitzpatrick is overpaid and babbles on about how the bills stink, be assured, i will correct them.

Let’s put this in perspective for the no nothing trolls. Buffalo’s starting O line in Week 11: LT Hairston, LG Rinehart, C Levitre, RG Urbik, RT Pears. How many of them were original starters at that position? NONE. The injuries to the O-Line have crippled the Bills offense, and would do the same to any team. Fitz doesn’t have enough time in the pocket, and we all saw what he can do when HE DOES have enough time in there.
A good start for next week is moving Levitre back to LG and Urbik back to C. Levitre has proven to be playable at LG. On a related note, this story is a sad, sad play by the writers.

Problem solved. The Bills trade Fitzparick to the Chiefs. The Chiefs trade Cassel to the Cardinals, the Cardinals trade Kolb to the Broncos, the Broncos trade TEBOW to the Bills. Everyone is happy. Everyone accept the Bills, Chiefs, Cards and Broncos.

This is stupid. While that contract is more than what he’s really worth, it isn’t all his fault that he’s having bad games. His recievers can’t catch (both interceptions Sunday bounced off recievers hands), the O-line is different every week, and Donald Jones would be #5 or 6 on most teams, not starting. It’s been 3 bad games, let’s not rush things

I was a believer of Fitzpatrick and thought he was really worth his contract but lately he looks like a different guy. I know his offensive line is not 100% but damn he has one of the hottest RB’s in the league. He’ll end up either being cut or restructuring his contract and riding shotgun after the draft.
