Nnamdi Asomugha’s practice injury on Thursday isn’t as bad as it first looked.

Asomugha was carted off the field with a knee injury, but it appears the injury isn’t overly serious. Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com reports Asomugha’s knee has no structural damage.

It shouldn’t be a “long-term” injury, but it’s unclear if Asomugha will be able to suit up Sunday against the Patriots. The Eagles are expected to be without Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie when they face the Patriots.
