Florio asked Broncos pass rusher Von Miller on NBC SportsTalk last week whether he expected a fine from the NFL after his hits on Mark Sanchez during Thursday Night Football.
Miller said he wasn’t worried and would respect whatever the league decided.
“Shoot first and ask questions later,” Miller said.
Well, Miller shot first and will pay some money later. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports Miller was fined $25,000 for hitting Sanchez in the chest with his helmet. (Not the play pictured above.)
It was Miller’s second fine this year, which led to a higher pricetag.
