Clayton tears meniscus at practice, heads to injured reserve

The Giants have lost yet another player for the season.

The team placed wide receiver Michael Clayton on injured reserve, after he tore his meniscus in practice this week.  Originally, he was listed as questionable on the injury report.

Clayton wasn’t a huge contributor to the Giants, but the team’s wideout group may already be depleted Monday night if Mario Manningham doesn’t suit up. Wideout Domenik Hixon was put on injured reserve a long time ago.

The Giants could desperately use a win in New Orleans. The Packers head to the Meadowlands next week, and the Giants are at risk of digging a hole to climb out of down the stretch in the NFC East.

    Tim Tebow has strong meniscus.

I think I just heard Plaxico Burress laughing.

It’s not so much that Tebow has a strong meniscus. The Bronco’s have been using his meniscus wrong. They must build the playbook so that it uses his meniscus more efficiently.

Seems we can’t go a day without a PFT story about another Giant heading to IR.

Giants not healthy and it looks like its getting worse.
Skins no where near healthy and at the bottom of the heap.
Eagles losing players right and left, and fighting for their lives.
Looks to be a cake walk for the cowgirls. Though you all know how that story goes. Choke when the chips aree down. I mean really they got handed a game by the hapless skins who had em on the ropes.
    Thats he NFC East.
    What a mess.

Yup, giants will be 6-6 in just a little bit. Saints and packers are out of their league. Big blue stinks and is overrated. That’s why VY beat them. Hahaha, hope that loss comes back to bite you at the end.

Poor guy… Promising ROOKIE season… and downhill ever since… maybe its time to call it a career….

Saw the headline and thought it was John Clayton.

Addition by subtraction. Clayton is a horrible receiver. Hard to beleive this guy was a 1st round pick with a great rookie season.
