Haven’t watched Matchup yet but I would think their reasoning could be that if the Pats can win this one, it makes the NFC East a 2 team race for sure whereas Saints-NYG loser is still in it?
Vick never plays against the Pats. He basically begged out his last chance in 05. Too bad because in that game, the 05 Pats defense gave Schaub his big contract opportunity in Hou. As bad of a passer as Vick was then, he may have had a chance to have a good day.

However, DRC checked out after the Cowboy game and NA has hardly been a factor all season, due to the fact that his DC started out the season playing him zone, not his natural scheme. NA has since given up on the season prob. out of frustration. Lots of rumors that players don’t respect the DC and are playing for HC.

A Secondary needs to learn to play as a team. No matter how big or small the names are they all have a role to play and are weakened when big names gamble in hopes of getting on the highlight film.

The Patriots have jettisoned nearly every recognizable name and are playing better than ever.

Its the large egos on Philly that’s been their undoing.

Pats are not dressing their starting CB, their best safety, their starting middle linebacker, their backup middle linebacker, their starting “backup” center.

Not only that, their star studded reciever Ocho is also not dressed………well in this case it’s actually a good thing.

This team is a huge bunch of underachievers and the best part is at 4-6 they still think they are a good team. They will probably keep the coaching staff after going 6-10, lose a bunch of free agents, franchise tag Desean and go 7-9 next year and still not blow this mess up…Eagles just suck!

Until the Eagles coaching staff starts using schemes that play to the players strengths it wouldn’t matter if they were healthy. Playing some of the premiere man to man corners in a zone defense all day long is a big part of the eagles problem. Promoting an offensive line coach to defensive coordinator when it’s clear he is learning on the job and unable to make adjustments is another.
