I found the mocking of the Jet crashing way more funny than the gunshot. The Jets always do that ridiculous arms extended Jet thing after good plays, it was funny to see someone mock it.

The irony is obviously missing from Stevie Johnsons’ reaction and statement as he failed
to see that he actually filled the void all sports
fans know as “he shot himself in the foot” as
the glaring mistake he made not only cost the Bills 2 touchdowns he went from hero to the games goat.
Dropping 2 easy catches in the final minute of the game in the end-zone. Keep pretending to imitate instead of to create still has me in laughter.

And lost in all this is the fact that Johnson yet again had one of the best days by a WR vs Revis in recent memory. He had Revis Island looking more like Revis Day Spa.

I don’t see why it’s considered classless or out of bounds or whatever.

If Plax don’t wanna be made fun of, then he shouldn’t be out at clubs late at night partying and shooting himself in the leg (while his wife and kids are at home).

Same for Steve Smith making fun of the loveboat scandal, I don’t see why Steve Smith and Stevie Johnson are the ones that get ripped on, it’s not like they’re busy shooting themselves or partying on a boat with hookers.

They were leading the east in week 8 as well.

Brutal loss but it was in typical Bills fashion. I still think Miami eliminated the Bills a week ago with Cincy having the tie breaker Bills would would have had to go 6-0 just to make the playoffs. I thought after the Jets loss at home if the Bills went 2-1 on the road trip they’d make the playoffs. Turns out they went 0-3. This was a different team than the 2 blowouts in the previous 2 weeks. I’m so sick if seeing quarterbacks have 20 seconds to throw the football every damn time. It looks like another draft committed to defense and #1 better be a rush linebacker.

Some of these guys act as if they did all the work with their selfish celebrations. Fitzpatrick threw the pass right on the money, the offensive line blocked well enough to give Fitz time to throw and other WRs did their routes to avoid the double team of Stevie classless Dropson.

I hate the Jets, but I dont see the humor in what Plax did when he shot himself, or that he lost 2yrs of his life for it, or that Johnson seemed to find the humor in it. Ignorance is likely why the Bills are losing, so chalk another one up for Karma!

The injuries to the Bills were more detrimental to their fragile team than the injuries to the packers in 2010. The pack also got in at 9-7, thats not an option in the AFC.
As far as you claiming I’m a bandwagon bills fan…? lol.. the bills dont have a bandwagon jack. they have the most loyal fans in the league. they bolster top 10 attendance while experiencing the worst performing 15 years of nearly any nfl club.
i remember that from 1981-1995 no night games were allowed in foxboro. i remember kraft lobbied the league for one more chance, then in 95 the pats beat the bills, only a few people got arrested, and i have the front pager that kraft ran in the boston globe “thanking the fans for their good behavior”. thats the type of bandwagon idiots over there, dont win- and they will kill people, literally.
so i guess, im not really a bills fan. just an enthusiast, and completely out of your reach of comprehension.

Why do the Jets fans think its funny when Ryan pops off, Bart Scott says the Patriots defense “can’t stop a nose bleed” and Cromartie calls Tom Brady an Ahole? Its all about the laundry. I thought Johnson’s celebration was one of the funniest TD celebrations I have ever seen. Get over it Jets.

Honestly, I can’t believe how the NFL is trying to legislate attitude out of a game that requires players to have a TON of attitude in order to simply be IN this league.

The NFL is like my schizoid girlfriend- she’s hot, sexy and a lot of fun but DAMN: she can be annoying.

Somebody in the league offices needs to sit down and DECIDE which direction this game will take in the future.

the best part is how plex made a clutch season saving one handed catch on the sidelines on the jets winning drive. meanwhile, stevie johnson was celebrating all game while he had a big game vs revis only to come up small when it mattered the most.

btw, this was by far the worst game of revis’ career and he only allowed 8 catches for like 70 yards. and a few of those catches were because of perfect throws by fitzpatrick.

I’d say that about sums it up. What ever bitterness left over from week 3 needs to be stifled, because after Brady is gone in a few years, Foxboro is going to regress back into not being allowed to host night games. Fun fact that I bet you didn’t know.

Let’s tell it like it is. Johnson wasn’t penalized for pretending to shoot himself in the leg. After the little dance, when he was running back to the sideline, he dropped to the ground and rolled. That’s what he was penalized for, can’t go to the ground for a td celebrations.

It had nothing to do with the Plax dance.

For some inexplicable reason, the NFL won’t allow genuine, heartfelt celebration. Players can’t remove their helmets, or hug and jump for joy–heaven forbid, they might fall to the ground in a pile! They can’t get excited and show team spirit, which is what the game is about.

At least it was flagged, but Johnson’s performance was no different than Dolphins LB Brian Cox walking out of the tunnel in Buffalo two decades ago, flipping the bird to the whole stadium. That’s not spontaneous celebration. It’s choreographed, pre-rehearsed, in-your-face, me-me-me stuff designed to stick it to specific players, coaches, or to a city. It doesn’t require creativity to be a jerk.

SJ13 is not all to blame on the Jets TD after his penalty. Rayner miskicked the kickoff and gave the Jets great field position. Furthermore, the Bills secondary left Plax wide open in the endzone for the score. While Johnson’s penalty was costly, it wasn’t his entire fault.
