There’s no definitive diagnosis yet, but the Texans are bracing for the worst.

A game after the Texans lost quarterback Matt Schaub for the year with a foot injury, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that the Texans fear that Leinart may have a broken collarbone.

Leinart suffered a broken collarbone in 2007, ending his season after several games in which the Cardinals would yank Leinart for Kurt Warner whenever the team fell behind by seven of more points, with Leinart then being re-inserted after Warner pulled the Cardinals even again.

T.J. Yates has taken over for Leinart. T.J. Yates could have the job for a while.
