Rodgers has a ways to go to accomplish what Brees has. If he wins another Super Bowl this year, then fine. But up to and until then, Brees has had the better career.

No one has been trying to turn Rodgers into God. That’s my problem with Brees. Is he good? Of course he is. But dude, is he some earth-shakingly good QB? Uh, sorry … no he’s not. And yet he’s still being talked about like he’s the second coming. I just find that odd in this “what have you done for me lately” league. What’s the fascination?

It’s not about praising Rodgers. It’s about getting some perspective on Brees. They had a Super Bowl run a couple years back, then they dropped into relative obscurity last year, and now they’re winning what is, let’s face it, a weak division. Whoop-de-f’in-do.

Brees’ numbers are nice, but bring back some more hardware. Christ, Brady gets less press.

The Saints lost in the playoffs 41-36. They didn’t get throttled. They lost the game because of injuries to their Top 3 running backs and all over the defense, especially Malcolm Jenkins. That put Roman Harper in coverage, which is always a mistake.

Also, I like how you discredit Brees for winning a Super Bowl in 2009, when Aaron Rodgers has won the same number. And, the Pack only got into the playoffs because the Lions inexplicably upset the Bucs at the end of last year. Not saying that Rodgers isn’t great, but your praising Aaron Rodgers for the EXACT SAME THINGS that you’re criticizing Brees for. You’re critizing Brees for the Saints having a close game in Atlanta? How about the Vikings or Panthers playing competitively against the Pack? C’mon dude. Don’t be ridiculous.

They made up fake statistics to prove how “great” Brees is: “No one has thrown for more yards in seven seasons than Drew Brees.” Yeah? Well so f’n what? What the hell does that even mean?

Where was Brees when NO got throttled in the playoffs by lowly Seattle?

You want to praise a QB doing incredible things and winning big, go talk to Aaron Rodgers. Talk to Brady who’s won a ba-jillion Super Bowls. Brees won a single Super Bowl, largely on the strength of Brett Favre screwing up and the Saints D playing a great game. Gimme a break with this guy already. He’s having a great season, but weren’t they just in a dog fight with a very average ATL team a couple weeks ago?

And shut the hell up with the Katrina references — it was six years ago.

Well the reason the Saints were passing in the third because it wasn’t the fourth yet and Jacobs little taunting after his td lit a fire again in the Saints so they wanted to put another on em’. We quit passing the ball early part of the 4th. The sad part was the Giants knew by our playcalling that we were done throwing and still couldn’t stop us. Results was Ingrams td. To answer your question about Brady and Bellichick, I would maybe say it comes back to the cheating fiasco.

The NFL is getting Lame as Hell…there’s just no drama watching 2 guys play catch. Oh if the other guy wants to stop the pass, he’s getting a flag. Just go 7 on 7 already Roger.
