The more I think about it, the more this anger confuses me.

Babin got paid by Seattle to do nothing. He suffered no injuries while playing for them. He was then able to take his fully healthy body to Tennessee, have a great year, and sign a fat contract in Philadelphia.

In all likelihood, his career will be extended by a year or two, because he didn’t get playing time in Seattle.

Yeah, I’d be totaly PO’d at an organization that paid me a crapload of money and left me in a condition where I could go make an ever larger crapload of money over a longer period of time.

Uhhhh. Aaron Curry is averaging 4.5 tackles a game with OAK in 6 games. 1 pass defensed over that time, with zero forced fumbles, zero (that’s “0″) interceptions and a total of 4 runs stuffed. Wahoo. Keep doin’ the dance buddy.

But if you reeeeaaalllllyyyyyy feel disgruntled and you chose to take your anger out on Tavarius Jackson, please do so. This only ensures the Seahawks better draft picks over your team.

Lol well Babin, when Washburn gets fired along with the rest of the Eagles staff, you will sit on the roster and be useless AGAIN, as they go back to a more traditional defense. Think the Eagles have learned their lesson from the Wide9. No use padding Babins stats if it means the rest of the team suffers.

Jason’s dreams of cold steel revenge will be smothered by Russell Okung. He better hope the secondary is on form, because coverage sacks are about all he’ll be getting.

Kinda hoping Carroll will start Josh Portis. The playoffs are now more or less officially out of reach, Whitehurst was a clear bust, and Jackson is playing hurt. Why not give the kid a start or three down the stretch and see what he can do? At worst, you lose games and move up the draft board to a higher pick and a better shot at one of the premiere rookie QBs. At best, you find the QB prospect of the future sitting right on your own bench, and can use that first-round pick on a pass-rushing DE.

Difference is, one invested everything in Free Agency and has been a severe disappointment after claiming to be a “dream team” , while the other is the 2nd youngest team in the league and had absolutely zero expectations coming into a rebuilding year. One is 4-7 with Michael Vick and Vince Young as QB. The other is 4-7 with Tarvaris Jackson at QB. Since this year is over for both teams, and we’re forced to look to the future on both, I’d take the future of Seattle over that of the Eagles.

As for Babin, I love the comeback from being a bust to a top pass rusher, and I always hoped SEA would give him a chance. Problem is, nobody on the Seattle sideline will even know what the heck he’s mad at. He’s going to try and prove a point to people who really don’t care.
