Still no practice for Vick

Michael Vick, Vince Young AP

With the Eagles trying to get it back together on a short week, they’ll likely have to do it without Mike Vick.

Though as the photo shows he did some throwing on Tuesday, Vick didn’t practice.  He hasn’t practiced in 16 days since sustaining a pair of broken ribs against the Cardinals.

Also missing practice on Tuesday were tackle King Dunlap (concussion), linebacker Moise Fokou (ankle), and receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder).  Practicing on a limited basis were cornerback Nnamdi Asomuga (knee), cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle), and running back LeSean McCoy (toe).

Defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins (thumb) fully participated in practice.  Receiver DeSean Jackson has exited the injury report.

The Eagles face the Seahawks in Seattle on Thursday night.  If Vick can’t play, Vince Young will get another start.

Is it too late to Suck for Luck?

Man, that would be a turnaround – from a Dream Team to hopes of coming in 2nd to Rex Ryan in the Super Bowl to the worst team in the NFL in one season.

Let Vick heal Vince finish up this lost season. Put some of the those rookies on the field and see what they can do. Never…because Reid is too stubborn to admit he tanked his season when he got his DC out of the Sears catalog.

Maybe Tebow can lay hands on him! I have seen it countless times on sunday morning T.V and it seems to work.

Greg Lloyd JR gets to take Moise Fokou’s spot.I hope he can play like his father did with the Steelers (even though thats unlikely).

I’m still laughing about that “game” between the Pats and the iggles last week.

That it happened in front of the fine folks of filly makes it that much better.

Their season is long gone anyways. If anything, they should give the young Kafka some reps. Young wont be there for much longer and we all know what its like to have a solid, reliable back-up.

anybody else think Reid is benching vick for young without making it public? he is known for going with the hot hand.

Why are they even posting stories about the Eagels and their over paid qb Vick, are they even relevant any more?

    Just sayin’

I am still scratching my head about Vick’s rib injury. So we are told that the injury occured on the 2nd play of the game? He was able to play the rest of that game without any obvious signs of pain, no wincing, no grabbing the ribs after every throw, but he hasn’t been able to play since. I never had broken ribs, but it seems to me if it has kept him out for 3 weeks, he should not have been able to finish the game where he got hurt.
