I can give you 2 reasons why the Steelers are inferior to at least 1 team in the NFL :) Or I can demonstrate to you with a broom.

Eagles once again represent as the best team with a losing record. Yay?

In a new development, the Giants are the worst team with a winning record.

Thanks for stating the obvious after my tongue in cheek post. I don't get a paycheck from the Eagles and am quite successful at what I do, so I don't consider myself a choke artist. Do you base your own self worth on the accomplishments of a sports team that you follow?

For your information, there's a lot of "good teams" in the playoffs.

and with the way San Fran's offense played against a decent defense, I ain't banking on them scoring more points than the Saints or Packers come playoff time.

I don't get the commentary about the Jaguars. Why wouldn't they be a coveted spot for a coach. They already have a top 5 defense and a great running game. All they need is non-awful quarterback play and they'll be a contender. They are an up and coming team that any new coach would be set up to win for the foreseeable future.

Packers are undoubtedly the best team in the NFL,but its hard to say 2 -5, Saints,Ravens,Pats,Niners, and Steelers could all be in the debate. However their are no dominant teams, outside of Wisconsin. This year is a year of the have and the have nots. Their are more bad teams than good and I don't predict too many surprise stories in the playoffs(outside of the Frisco.) Detroit,Cincy and Buffalo were great early season stories who are on the down-slide.

3) Saints - Who dat gonna beat dem Saints?
4) Ravens - If they get HFA could be a Super season.
5) Steelers - Just continue to find ways to win.
6) 49ers - Still on pace for 13-3.
7) Raiders - Just keep winning, baby!
8) Cowboys - Might really get on a roll with their schedule.
9) Bengals - Dalton is the real deal.
10) Broncos - This team isn't going away.
11) Bears - Should still make postseason even without Jay Cutler.
12) Falcons - Matty Ice leads the way

Ravens fan here, and I think the Steelers earn 5 spots higher than where they overall should be because of their QB. Seed doesn't matter when you have a QB that's been there done that before.

Steelers Will putting it in perspective. I have to know what the true hatrid for the Steelers is though. Call me biased but I was born here and live in the Southside of the city. Maybe not the cleanest, friendliest, or prettiest of all towns but better than most I feel. Seriously though what is the beef with our squad? We have players like everyone else that bring negativity to their ball club. Is it that we win alot and continue to have these negative actions committed by our players?
Sorry man I dont get it I love watching our guys play, and I also enjoy watching jsut about every other team play as well.. Just enlighten me please.

To all confused 9er fans,

Last week after beating the Bengals, the Ravens were begrugingly ranked at 6(3 spots behind the steelers whom they have not only beaten twice but were also on a bye that week). In fact it was even predicted here that "turkeys might not be the only birds getting stuffed on Thanksgiving". Well as we all know that didn't happen so you can imagine the dilemma. "How do we move the Ravens up with out dropping the precious steelers, even after their shakey win and bye?" The Pats and Saints won so we can't move them. The answer, flip-flop the 9ers and Ravens...problem solved.

To all confused 9er fans,

Last week after beating the Bengals, the Ravens were begrugingly ranked at 6(3 spots behind the steelers whom they have not only beaten twice but were also on a bye that week). In fact it was even predicted here that “turkeys might not be the only birds getting stuffed on Thanksgiving”. Well as we all know that didn’t happen so you can imagine the dilemma. “How do we move the Ravens up with out dropping the precious steelers, even after their shakey win and bye?” The Pats and Saints won so we can’t move them. Side note….. No team has a defense like the ravens. Lights out! 49ers are second best. None Of the teams in ur top five has a great defense except ravens.
Should be
ravens 1.
Packers 2
49ers 3
saints 4
steelers 5
All these team can beat the packers with their terrible defense!

We beat the Saints........... You don't have to have the best defense the to win a championship. Just need to outscore your opponent.

Oh, and of course the Skins are 9 spots lower than the team they just beat on the road with the same record, a week after losing to Dallas in OT... but whatever.

I honestly couldn’t tell you where all of these teams should be ranked at this point. Almost everyone in the top 10 (except Green Bay) seems to be involved in random wins and losses that can’t possibly churn out a reasonable prediction that the majority of people here would agree with (all team biases aside).

However… I really want to know why/how the Steelers are ranked so high. The Steelers have lost to the Ravens twice (with week 1 being a blowout) and Houston.. and they’ve won against Seattle, Arizona, and Tennessee, and BARELY won against Indy (0-11), Jacksonville (3-8), Kansas City (4-7), Cincinnati (7-4), and New England (8-3), in a game where the Patriots played horribly and they should have blown them out of the water.

The 49ers had 1 bad game and they plummet to 6!?!?!? They have the 2nd best record in the NFL. I don't understand the logic.....Yes. Alex Smith only threw for 90 yards but they lost due to the injuries to Bruce Miller and Adam Snyder which broke up the pass protection. The ticky tack call on the TD was a crusher. We will continue to win and A. Smith will get better! They will recover and will get a 1st rd bye! #49er nation!
