Sounds like Garrard is not ready to play again. Doesn’t seem that he is doing well after that surgery, and probably is content to just call it quits. He’ll be like all other cerebral players and get into TV.

After that experience David may want to consider whether he wants to come back to football altogether.

His back may be too brittle to permit it.

So thats what teams that lose their QB and are afraid of losing do? They try to get other QB’s that may give them a chance? Hmmmm, someone ought to tell the Colts the way this works.

I hope he hasn’t blown his best chance to fill in for one of the teams in need of an experienced QB and resurrect his career. I just wonder why he didn’t have the surgery while with the Jags or wait til he hooked up with another team. It sounds like he wouldn’t have had the surgery had he not been cut.

Anyway Garrard seems like a good guy. Hope he gets better soon and gets a chance to be starter for another team.

For a average at best qb garrad sure rates himself!!! Must have alot of money in the bank or think hes just going to walk into a job next year

Garrard was one of the nicest men to play the game. A true family man and very active in the community – especically anything relating to cancer (he lost his mother at a young age)

But I think his days are done. I’d be shocked if he’s on ANY roster next year.
