**Epic Fail** I hope you meant to say limitless in regards to me. I”m not the avg. fan–I weigh all aspects of the game. McNabb would’ve been just fine in Minnesota had he gotten the chance to play the whole season. Who’s the number one primary receiver in Minnesota? MICHAEL JENKINS!! The first round bust here in Atlanta. Percy Harvin is a slot guy–in Coach Bill Musgraves offense (Who also was here in Atlanta) Harvin often doesn’t even see the field. Two TE’s and a full backfield only leaves TWO receivers usually on the field. When McNabb was playing that was Bernard Berrian and Jenkins. That combo will get you fired!

Musgrave runs that weak version of the weastcoast offense where they throw about 15 x’s a game with mostly 6 yard passes. Falcon fans know what I’m talking about. They take like 1 shot downfield per game. It’s the run based westcoast offense. In Philly they are a downfield attack team similar to Green Bay. With that being said McNabb still had 4td’s and 2int’s with 60% completion w/ little talent and little time to learn the offense. Get McNabb on a team like the Texans and he’d look really good. I have no doubts about that. The Texans attack downfield which Mcnabb is best at. He’s not the most accurate passer–but his deep passes are his thing.

He did have those receivers. Same exact ones.

We missed the playoffs.

I actually think McNabb is in the same stat class as a Drew Bledsoe (although he can never reach his yardage total) or a Boomer Esiason (who has almost the same stats over a comparable career duration-wise).

They’re all great QB’s, but not in the elite class and certainly not HOF’ers.

And whoever said McNabb was held back by Reid has it wrong, IMO. Reid, despite numerous other faults, MAKES the QB’s.

He’s now been cut twice since we traded him.

so what? that just means his agent did an excellent job. McNabb’s salary is irrelevant to discussion of his abilities. (and pleez don’t start with “my tickets pay for his salary”, becuz your tickets would cost the same with or without McNabb on the roster)

McNabb QB’d in five NFC championship games — I bet that’s equal to the combined total of half of the rest of the conference. he’s obviously past his prime, but he wants to keep playing … which just means he’s the same as every other professional athlete. he’s never appeared on a police report, he doesn’t appear to be dishonest or disreputable, and while he could be in better shape, he’s certainly in better shape than 99% of the public, including virutally everyone on this website that criticizes his physique.

there’s lots of NFL players who are much-better criticism targets.

He’ll need more weapons.

Some people make mistakes in they lives, and the Vikings made a big one last summer.

Show me the next fan base who will get clued into McNabb’s phony, fraudulent act! Dallas? Chicago? Houston?
