Mike and Mike on ESPN Radio taped from Foxborough on Friday morning, managing to finagle an interview with Bill Belichick.

Belichick covered a lot of ground in the interview, but one comment stuck out just after Belichick said there’s no quarterback he’d rather have than Tom Brady. (Belichick has said that a thousand times.)

Belichick then added that he was proud the Patriots won 11 games without Brady. (We can’t remember Belichick ever saying that.)

Hmm ... we wonder why Belichick would say that this week, of all times?

The Colts may be 0-11, but they are still the Colts.

We suspect Belichick will relish the opportunity to stick it to Bill Polian and the Colts on Sunday, just like he slyly stuck it to Polian during his interview this morning.
