Miles Austin likely out again

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said early in the week that he expected Miles Austin to return to the field this week from his hamstring injury.

Miles Austin will likely not return to the field this week.

Austin missed his second straight day of practice Thursday and Jones now admits Austin’s chances of facing the Cardinals don’t look good. Jones does think Austin and Felix Jones will ultimately be factors this year.

“I would hope at the end of the year I’m able to say, ‘Man, without Miles and without Felix, we wouldn’t have accomplished what we accomplished,” Jones said Thursday via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

With Laurent Robinson playing so well, the Cowboys have barely missed a beat without Austin.

Yeah,. I love Mileas but he is Mr UN-reliable. He’s injury prone and ninconsistent. Therefore he is expendabl;e. I HATE to say that but trade bait=Miles for most of us Cowboy fans who have a clue (ok, laugh now).

Ariz + 4 1/2 at home is EASY MONEY ! 4 1/2 pt favz at home on a line that started at 7? Follow the line to OUR pot o’ gold. Vegas screwed this one up !

    Christmas money guys !

Robinson has been the biggest surprise. For whatever reason, he and Romo have an amazing rapport.

L.Robinson playing so well? You must’ve not seen the Redskins game or the last few games.. For every 5 times Romo goes his way .. 2-3 he’s out of position or just doesn’t make the catch.

Austin most likely could play if he had to, but, they want him for the Giants and the end of the season. So why not give him an extra week to be sure the hammy is healed?

Miles Austin has not been the same since he signed the big contract extension. When he is healthy,he is a beast, but he hasn’t been able to put up the same numbers as his breakout years. I hope he does take the time to heal so he does not re-injure himself, because when he is on the field, good things happen. Hurry Back Miles!

That’s fine…take another week off, Miles. We need you healthy for the Giants and playoff run.

Miles should be spending his injury time trying to get back together with his soon-to-be-single ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Austin will be traded to the Rams for a 2nd round draft pick in the offseason.

    You heard it here first.

    hey RomosRibs..
last time i check az has beaten the boys the last two times they have faced each other and in both of those situations the cowboys were favor by more the 4 1/2… Im not saying they cards are going to beat them this time around but, based on the cowboys beating bad teams by slim margin over the past few weeks I am staying away from this one.

Hey Miles, take your time, hurry up.

This division is the giants to lose. And lose they will.

@raider23mike, Laurent Robinson has 7 TD catches in the last 5 games. That’s only 6 fewer than the entire Raiders team this season.
