I am glad he appealed the suspension however. It is his right. It was bargained in to the deal. I just wish the union didn’t appeal everything. Appeals would mean more is players would accept a reasonable punishment for a punishable act. Not all punishment is unjustified.

A 2 game suspension will get his attention for a short time but will suhn be forgotten.

Suhzie’s brief but stormy career has produced a string of escalating fines and suspensions mostly for his fascination with grabbing and twisting his opponents heads.

This type of on field behavior points to much bigger anger management issues. It is only a matter of time before he appears on a police blotter somewhere for aggravated assault.

I predict there will be MUCH longer suspensions ahead for good old Suhzie-Q.

Do not forget he might lose current and/or future endorsements. He doesn’t need the extra income, but endorsements are an honor.

Strange. I wanted Suh to have a third game, and most of my stuff gets deleted quite often, too.

Chances are, if your stuff gets deleted, it’s a procedural/rules thing, and not some big, bad conspiracy.

Still, stinks when you try to put some thought into it and it gets tossed. I mean, it’s hard getting all three of my brain cells to work at the same time.

These past 10 days have seemed like an eternity. I’m glad the decision is final. I was hoping for 1 game because he did get tossed right after it happened. But hopefully he’ll put this kind of thing behind him.

It will be a challenge, but he’s got to just adopt a stone face and show that no amount of trickery is going to set him off anymore. Then he should start to draw satisfaction from driving other players nuts when it becomes apparent that they have no effect anymore.

I thought 2 games was a bit excessive but I also think every one of the previous fines were absurd, especially the Cutler one.

The penalty increases when you’ve had past offenses. That’s why Pat Lee, Brian Robison, Charles Woodson weren’t suspended – they don’t have a reputation for ripping people’s heads off. I might also add that Woodson and Robison took responsibility and apologized – rather than Suh’s pathetic justification.

Yes, they did wrong. They were penalized. Some were fined. They were not suspended for one reason only: conduct history.

Suh is one of the most penalized and fined players in the league in many years. The other guys are not serial repeat offenders as Suh is. The League is giving the other guys a chance to wise up with just the penalties and fines as they once did Suh. But since Suh hasn’t wised up despite all the penalties or fines, they had no choice but suspend him.

And the Packers player thrown out of the same game for throwing a punch gets a $20,000 fine. Justice my ass.

For those of you riding him for appealing, it’s not him that’s making him appeal, it’s the union. The union makes nearly every player appeal discipline like this. Whoever your team is, if a player on yours did the same thing it would end up being appealed.

While I agree there is pressure, the decision is ultimately his to appeal or not.
