If I were Tracy Porter, I would be knocking on Goodel’s door demanding a personal explanation on how that play was in any way fine-worthy.
------------------------------------------------

Somehow, I don't think that would help his cause in the future.

I can't believe they fined Porter for that. I mean it was a dumb play but fine worthy? Really? Really.

As far as Isa's hit and celebrating, he got up so fast and started celebrating he didn't even know the receiver was hurt.

I do wish the NFL would do some kind of Saturday morning special in the offseason where they clearly outline what players are suppose to do in the defensive secondary when a receiver is catching the ball.
A: The defensive player should wait till the receiver catches the ball, then rip off his flag, making sure to never leave the ground and only use his ring and pinky fingers to grab the flag.

Probably fined for his stupidity. Nicks was about 5 feet out of bounds when Porter started to drag him down. One of the more blatantly obvious late hits I’ve seen.

Late, yes. Dumb, yes. Dirty? Not by any stretch of the imagination.

Are we going to start fining for false starts, too?

Phony, IAQ was celebrating because he made a huge pass break up on what was clearly a legal hit. Nicks might have been on the ground but he didn’t land akwardly or anything, just the wind knocked out of him. No reason for him to be concerned.

Phillips hit was obviously helmet to helmet and Graham went down very awkwardly. Tons of reason for immediate concern. Had Graham been seriously hurt on a play Phillips knew he was in the wrong for he knew he’d catch hell for it.
----------------------------------------------------------
A Saints fan's perspective. Giants fans looked at it the opposite way. Well after the Nicks hit, when Nicks was still down (and was being attended to by team physicians), IAQ and Porter were chest-bumping, even though they looked back CLEARLY to see that Nicks was still down.

Not low class, just no class.

Abdul-Quddus should be fined if only for his lack of class after the hit. He's hootin' and hollerin', doing backflips, everything but popping the champagne and makin' it rain while Nicks is clearly hurt on the turf.

Phillips, on the other hand, along with Rolle, shows immediate concern for Graham and forgoes the celebration. Some talented athletes hate to see another get hurt. Others would rather celebrate their penalties.

A tale of two safeties.
