Getty ImagesJacksonville’s secondary was a mess last year.
The solid play at cornerback by Derek Cox, Rashean Mathis, and Will Middleton turned the group around this year. Now all three of those players are on injured reserve.
The Jaguars placed Middleton on injured reserve Saturday. The third year player put off medical school for the NFL and the decision paid off. Undrafted rookie Kevin Rutland is set to take Middleton’s place.

Yawn. We’re the most-injured team in football. Chargers have lost for the last month and a half. Not like they’ll find themselves Monday night.

Yeah, OK. Lol.
Take a gander across the division, clown shoes. Oh, look, there’s a team with worse injuries than you – the only problem is they aren’t a bunch of no talent assclowns and could withstand those injuries.
Jagfan…the Rams are the most injured team in football…by far.
the weather should be nice.
@mizzouram:
Rams are suffering seriously, I’d agree, but the Jags have more players on IR than any other team at 20.
Clearly literacy is a problem for Texan fan, he said MOST-injured as in the number of players, not the quality.
Texan fan running their mouth is funny including they haven’t won diddly squat in their existance.
@howboutthemtexans – now that you finally made the playoffs by default after 10 years of existence, get ready for that first round home blowout at whatever wildcard team is lucky enough to get to go to houston and advance to the divisional round.
