if a bank gets robbed and youre in the area and someone says “he did it” (directed at you) (again, even though you didnt do it), that you did it?????? just because someone says so????, you have to realize that these athletes are worth millions and when they go back to the hood, the hood folks see dollar signs, i mean for real, he could back his car out of a driveway and people would be pulling their cars up right behind the athletes in hopes of getting hit so they can get paid, use logic people, just because you hear something in the media does not necessarily make it true!

Now, apparently the story the alleged victim is giving is that another man was trying to fight him that was there. He did not want to fight, so he ran to his car to get a box cutter. Once he grabbed it Rolando pulled out a gun and told him ”give me the gun”, thinking the man had a gun. He didn’t give the gun (box cutter) over so Rolando fired a shot as a warning, and the man gave up the box cutter.

Who knows what’s true. But when your story starts changing…its hard to believe you.

…as for the “victim”. please. theres two sides to every story and this all sounds a little sketchy. im not saying mcclain wasnt involved in anything but i think this lil accusation stinks like fish.

hues job is to put the best product out on the field that will equat to a win. not to play cops & robbers/babysitter. rol will play. he just wont “start”

At one point he was supposedly crawling to his car and McClain was following him with gun drawn. Another version is the ‘victim’ was reaching for a box-cutter but McClain thought it was a gun.

Bottom line is he put himself in a stupid position and nothing good ever seems to come from these athletes returning to their stomping grounds. The dumb grinning picture certainly didn’t help matters.

That said – he hasn’t been convicted of anything and the ‘victim’s story changes daily. I don’t think he’s going to be charged with a crime. He should play and hopefully this charges him up a bit.

Actually, he’s been charged with 4 dismeanors, and was released on $2000 bond… in the dirty south, gun crimes aren’t seen as bad as the northerners like to make them out to be…. that said, what he has to be remorseful for is putting himself in a stupid situation and jeopardizing his and his teams success this year. He was only home for his grandfather’s funeral.. a reasonable excuse in my humble opinion, but he should have gone to the funeral, and gotten his butt back to Oakland, and kept a low profile while he was in Alabama. Will Jackson suspend him? He might make him sit a quarter or a few series, until he sees how bad that defense is with Blackstock trying to carry the load. After that, Romac will be back on the field. That said, personally, the “victim” has changed his story 3 times… I ultimately think it will all go away in a puff of wind… much like Michael Bush’s DWI did… Not excusing the kid for putting himself in a bad situation, but not ready to convict him on the accuser’s testimony alone without due process… and those that are ready to convict him based on an accusation should not have the right to vote in this country.
