Andre Johnson has left hamstring injury

Texans receiver Andre Johnson missed several games earlier this season with a right hamstring injury.  He now has an injury to his left hamstring.

After Sunday’s win over the Falcons, Johnson said that the pull was “nothing near” what he felt in Week Four against the Steelers, according to Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com.  On the question of whether he’ll miss any time with the injury, Johnson said, “I don’t know.  I’ll find out in the morning.”

The Texans have moved to 9-3 for the first time in franchise history despite a string of injuries that have prompted some to wonder whether Reliant Stadium was built on Indian burial ground.

Maybe the string of injuries has to do with players who may be 12 games into the season, but didn’t have OTA’s or had a training camp that was accelerated because of the late agreement between the owners and players. That’s why they train year round and are under the watchful eyes of team trainers and doctors. Its a year round effort. Except this year all that was interrupted.

I love Andre and he is a beast when he is on the field, but honestly this guy is becoming way too injury prone.

It is time to sign Terrell Owens. I am tired of watching Kevin Walter, Jacoby Jones and Derrick Mason drop passes every week. I know most fans want to wait for the draft but we have a #1 defense and a running game to win two playoff games but we need an outside threat at wide reciever.

People thumbs downing your post are not very bright. I challenge someone who gave it a thumbs down to explain why signing T.O. isn’t a very good idea at this point? He is tremendous in that type of offense. It emphasizes his ability to take short passes and make them long gains by BREAKING TACKLES. He will force the safeties to play back in coverage. Which further helps out that dynamic run game. He has something to prove and will be on his best behavior. That above mentioned group of receivers scares NOBODY. They will force my boy T.J. Yates to win the game instead of managing it. Sign T.O. to buy some time ’til Dre returns. Go out and win your first playoff game and look towards the future…

People, thumbs down this post if you know very little about football you just go by what the media tells you.

They said the last injury wasn’t a big deal at first. Two months later…
