On Thanksgiving, Lions running back Kevin Smith suffered what at first appeared to be a serious ankle injury. But Smith won’t miss any games from that injury.

As we reported this morning he would be, Smith is active for tonight’s game against the Saints.

The Lions’ inactives are quarterback Drew Stanton, running back Aaron Brown, guard Leonard Davis, defensive end Lawrence Jackson, cornerback Brandon McDonald, cornerback Chris Houston and safety Louis Delmas. (Suspended players like defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh are not considered inactive.)

The Saints’ inactives are running back Chris Ivory, defensive back Johnny Patrick, offensive lineman William Robinson, tight end Michael Higgins, wide receiver Adrian Arrington, defensive end Turk McBride and linebacker Martez Wilson.
