“If” the Packers’ receivers didnt’ drop the like 10 passes that bounced off of their hands, there’s 2-3 more scores. “If” Rodgers saw that roving LB and didn’t throw what turned out to essentially be a pick six, there’s another 7 points. Who cares about hypothetical situations?

The fact that remains is this. The Packers were down several key starters, just like yourselves. We had a rookie linebacker (just like you) and a street “Free agent” linebacker – both of our ILBs were out this week. Not to mention we’ve got a reserve LT and a 4th string OL playing right guard.

The reason you guys kept burning our secondary for huge gains was because both of the safeties had to play low with man deep because Capers didn’t trust the rookie linebackers to stop Bradshaw (especially with one of them being woefully undersized). So they played a lot of man coverage with help in the box. If there’s a rematch (and that’s a HUGE “if”) it won’t go ANTHING like you saw yesterday. I’m laughing at this misconception because one of your retarded sports journalists actually wrote about how the Giants showed a “blueprint” on how to beat the Packers.

Blueprint:
-Hope they have massive injuries to their OL and LB corps.
-Hope that Rodgers turns the ball over (even though he does less than once every 2 games)
-Hope that the Packers beat themselves with nearly a dozen catchable passes dropped

They overturned the same type of play when Manningham had a TD taken off the board earlier this year vs. BUF when the EXACT same thing happened. Just poor officiating. Williams was pushed by Finley, but gets an illegal contact, Driver was out of bounds, yes, that was at least 10-14 points difference.

OFF DAY??? Because the Giants forced them into it, you mean, right? They always drop 3-4 passes per game. That’s nothing new. Their defense gets shredded all game, nearly 400 yards per game, that’s nothing new (Giants had almost 450). I think the Packers are what they are. They have enough offense (and nuances therein) to beat anyone and overcome their defensive liabilities, but like New England, they do NOT want to see this Giants team again.

And Fewell is coaching for his current job and his future, so we will see more of what we saw yesterday defensively. We will sweep Dallas and get revenge on Washington. The Jets game may make or break us, but winning that one would clinch another tiebreaker (common opponents) as the Jets beat these clowns Week 1.

Giants played really well yesterday and if they keep it up they’ll be in the playoffs. Just don’t whine about the refs, it’s lame.

Finley and our wide receivers were getting mugged all night. The officials also missed a blatant jason pierre-paul launching on Mason Crosby’s missed field goal as time expired in the first half. That would have been a 15 yarder. I also saw several blatant holds by the Giants offensive line that weren’t called.

I’d say the calls evened out. You lost. Get over it and stop whining. Just worry about Dallas next week.

Yeah, but the Packers were going with backups at left tackle, right guard, running back, safety, cornerback, and both inside linebacker positions by the end of the game. At least five of those players should be back if the two teams were to meet again at Lambeau in January, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up that the Giants played them close yesterday. Given that the Giants have to win out, I wouldn’t get your hopes up anyway.

The problem with the Giants is not Eli and for a change it was not the running game it is the D 5 weeks ago they were all over Brady after that not a thing.
We need not just a new OC but a new DC to right this ship.

And yes the Giants may not make the playoffs this year and the Packers will but my guess is the pack will not beat SF or NO.

I’m not a fan of either team, but even I was getting pretty irritated at the Packers having the officials as their 12th man. I wanted to see a good football game, and while it was a very good one to the end it never felt like the Giants were given a chance.
