Please be quiet and stop making it even harder on the rest of us Lions fans that it already is. It’s been near impossible to defend the team lately, and we darn sure aren’t going to expend the energy to come to your defense for idiotic comments.
Peppers is a good player who made a legit hit on Stafford, who just broke. The call was bogus, but if it happened the other way we’d all have been happy with the W and said “Oh well!”
Injuries happen all the time in football, it’s not karma it’s the nature of the sport. Stop trying to make it some kind of existential issue.

On personal basis, I’m happy for Forte. Since the Bears aren’t going anywhere, I hope Forte plays it safe and risks his talented self for what he’s relatively worth after he gets a deal.

For a guy who’s done as well as he has to blow a knee making the minimum would be a tragedy.

Forte will never play for the Bears again. Management will pay a price for not signing him for years to come, why? Because players will not want to play for them. Rookies sign short contracts and get out of Chicago.

Its unfortunate that Forte was hurt, but for everyone bashing the Bears for mistreating him and wearing him out, please remember that Forte declined an offer of 6 million per year with over 14 million guaranteed.

Its not his fault he took a helmet to the knee. But it is his fault that he doesn’t have a new contract.

Knee injuries are EXACTLY why you don’t give a RB big money. They have a short shelf life.

Unless a guy is injured, McCarthy isn’t the coach to rest starters. He’s all about momentum. They will have a bye to rest players. I expect the starters to compete through week 17.

What’s with all the doom and gloom Bears’ fans? All we kept hearing about the past few weeks was how the Bears win with defense and special teams and Caleb Hanie would make no difference in the grand scheme of things. Seemed like in Chicago, having any kind of offense is just a bonus. Sadly that tool of a GM of your actually believed it. Now there is no Cutler, there is no way Forte ever plays for you again (without instant overpayment) and your defense just got beat by Tyler Palko – pathetic.

I think the Bears have a challenge ahead of them, but are far from out. This team still has a top-10 D, and game-changing special teams. It’s not exactly like the Lions, Falcons, Eagles, Giants/Cowboys are running away with the Wild Card spots.

Lions are going to make the playoffs now. Giants and Cowboys play twice and one will eliminate the other. Atlanta is a lock, but the Bears have nothing.
