Oh, and by the way, I believe that his last pass was a pick. I remember watching the Monday Viking game, and He was knocked to the ground, and he did one of his basket throws, and someone from the opponents team, got the ball.

But even if I remember in error, his last pass as a Jet and as a Packer, were both picks, that is indisputable.

Go Pack! and we dont care as much about being 16-0, as we would be to go 19-0, or 18-1, or 17-2, as long as one of the wins was Super Bowl 46.

hello people. I just had to join this blog, if only to comment on this Favre nonsense.

Dont you readers recognize a joke when you read one? Obviously this guy is joking. A source close to Favre's thinking? R-I-G-H-T! So does this mean that the Pychic Friends Network is coming out of Retirement (back from scam hell) also?

I agree with whoever mentioned about Kurt Warner being a better option. Although, he is too smart to try, and he does know when to say good night Gracie.

I think it was just meant to be humorous, honestly. And as side benefit, make as many ignorant and un-educated people as possible, talk about him again. In his defense, there were no direct quotes, except for his thoughts, which you cant technically quote, lol

and so I say, Good night Gracie. If you dont know who Gracie is or where the phrase, "Good Night Gracie" is from, go Google it. And no, I am not over 60, I just love the phrase, lol. I am 44.

Truth is Favre's skills hadn't deteriated all that much last year. The Vikings' O-line and WR corp, with injuries and poor play, had more to do with his down year. (Funny if you don't address weak spots they tend to remain the same problem the following year)

These two areas are of concern in Chicago as well. That, along with an unfamiliar & difficult system, football inactivity, and being another year older, I can't see any traction with this rumor.

Makes you wonder though; is this Favre craving attention, the media stirring up the pot to drum up hits or viewership, or someone in the Favre camp seeking to be a bigshot? All three are great possibilities.

Lost far more games than he won by his gunslinger attitude.

----------------------------------------------

Favre's career record: 186-112-0

Winning record for every team he played for where he was the QB of record.

Only two seasons with a losing record during his entire career.

He had the gunslinger attitude his entire career; so how did he accomplish his overall record if he lost more than he won?

He would listen if the Bears called….. Why so he could cement his record of his final pass with 5 different teams being intercepted?

Go back to Rodgers shadow Bert!!!

----------------------------------------

Please don't let facts get in your way.

His first pass in Atlanta (the NFL for that matter) was an INT returned for a TD against Washington, but his last pass was an incompletion.

His last pass in New York was a completion that was later lateralled forward. The original completion stood.

[Last pass:
(:17) (Shotgun) 4-B.Favre pass short left to 29-L.Washington to NYJ 5 for 4 yards. Lateral to 4-B.Favre to NYJ 7 for 2 yards. 4-B.Favre pass incomplete short right to 89-J.Cotchery. PENALTY on NYJ-4-B.Favre, Illegal Forward Pass, 3 yards, enforced at NYJ 7.

Source(s): NFL.com]

His last pass as a Viking (against Chicago) was an incompletion.

Gee, that leaves only one team where his last pass was an interception. But keep making stuff up because it makes you look so smart.

Good Lord….
First the vikings, now the bears….
(childhood me) NOooooo!!!!
He’s probably still got a solid arm on him and what not… but man…. idk. I mean if he wants to give it another shot at the ‘bowl, then go to the texans, not Chicago…. ugh… yuck… I can’t even imagine ole’ no.4 in a bear’s uniform….

As a Packer fan, it would be like if GI Joe joined the taliban, then decided to become leader of north korea…. idk.

The sad thing is, I can’t see this ever ending.

“The Los Angeles Jaguars today announced that they have dug up the corpse of one time NFL-er Brett Favre in hopes of propping him up mid game a la “Weekend at Bernies”.

Head coach Peyton Manning said “we don’t need him to do much, considering we’re 0-11, but we figured the jersey sales couldn’t hurt. Plus that guy won a lot of games at one point, so he brings that winning atmosphere. Kinda.”

------------------------------------------------------

You guys crack me up! They're just as funny the third & fourth time around. Tears streaming from my eyes.

—————————————
the fact that the guy is 42/43 years old and is a grandfather speaks volumes about him and his family.

----------------------------
Kind of a dumb@$$ comment. How does that reflect on him or his family. I was getting play at 16 and I'm now 26. Lucky I don't have any kids. I just happens sometimes. Cuz his daughter had intercourse at a young age, in this day and age, make him or his family any less upstanding. That comment has nothing to do with football anyways. Obviously you don't have kids or are just completely ignorant! Sometimes things happen and credit to him for not trying to cover it up or any of that other bs.

Favre is a legend in the game. He had alot on his mind last year with that Jen Sterger crap. Did anyone else notice that she didnt come forward with the story till right before the vikes played the jets last year. If it was such a big deal why didnt she say anything when it was happening? I dont know if he can still play but i sure would like to see him try!!!

After Rodgers breaks all of his records the Pack will be laughing their asses off! Just go away, act like a man.Oh wait! He is still 4!!

This has got to be some joker playing a prank. I don't think even Favre is dumb enough to come back,he knows he is done and can't play at that level anymore, those days are gone and he doesn't need the money.
I actually feel sorry for him now. Yes he unretired a few times but this is not his fault.
He ain't coming back and doesn't want to.
