Charges dropped against Kenny Britt in false information case

Kenny Britt AP

There was a point during the summer when it was getting nearly impossible to keep track of Kenny Britt’s different arrests in various states during the lockout.

Perhaps the most minor offense came from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Britt was charged with two misdemeanor counts of supplying false information on a drivers license.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports Tuesday that those charges have been officially dropped.

Britt was off to a great start to the 2011 season before a season-ending ACL tear. He’s kept out of the news since, which is a step in the right direction.

Maybe his ACL tear was blessing in disguise. You can’t break the break the law with 1 good knee.
