During last night’s NBC SportsTalk, Saints running back Mark Ingram joined the show to discuss the prospects of his NFL team as the postseason approaches.

But since we had the 2009 Heisman winner on the phone and in light of the fact that every past Heisman winner has a vote and given that the 2011 Heisman will be awarded on Saturday night, Russ Thaler asked Mark a few questions about the ballot he cast.

We also gave Mark a chance to defend his alma mater’s inclusion in the BCS title game. He made a great case for it -- and he sounds nearly as excited about Alabama’s return to the championship game as he would be if the Saints make it to the Super Bowl.
