If people are suspended I thought they weren’t allowed to attend meetings or practice or use team facilities or have contact with coaches or the team. WTF?

Of course they should. It’s a business and the continued success of that business depends largely on public perception of the players. Mom and Dad aren’t going to buy player X’s jersey for little Johnny if player X is a stoner. It was collectively bargained by the union, for which I’m sure the players received something in return.

The OG LT was a crazy coke head. I doubt his jersey sales ever went down. The funny thing is that cocaine clears your system in 72 hours while marijuana takes 28 days. The message being sent to players is “If you’re gona use a drug, use coke”. Just saying
