In an October 30 win over the Patriots, Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley suffered a hamstring injury.  He returned on Sunday against the Bengals, aggravated the injury early, and now will not play on Thursday night against the Browns.

Per Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Woodley is not active.

Also inactive are quarterback Dennis Dixon, linebacker Chris Carter, defensive end Al Woods, tackle Jamon Meredith, receiver Arnaz Battle, and receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

For the Browns, both running back Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty are active.  Hillis (hip) will start.

Inactive for the Browns, via Jeff Schudel of the News-Journal, are safety T.J. Ward, quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, offensive lineman Jeff Vallos, offensive lineman Oniel Cousins, tight end Jordan Cameron, offensive lineman Auston English, and linebacker Quinton Spears.

The Browns and Steelers get started in Pittsburgh at 8:30 p.m. ET, on NFL Network.

We’ve done it all year with injuries. Our motto is “next man up” and jason worilds is a beast! We don’t make injury excuses lije the rest of the NFL… In pittsburgh… The standard is the standard!

Not having Woodley is unfortunate, but the Steelers beat Cincy by 28 without him, Harrison had 3 sacks, and Jason Worilds is adequately filling in.

When will the Steelers stop wearing those HIDEIOUS throwback unis?

I guess the reasoning is it will make us appreciate the regular ones that much more.

    Wrong again.
