shutting down vick usually has something to do with vick failing to prepare for the game.

Only if he completes as many passes as he did to get his team in position to win the game. Which he did. When it counted, he didn’t fumble, he didn’t choke, he didn’t miss targets the defense gave him.

Joe Montana, John Elway, Brett Favre, Tom Brady – all had good defenses, good running games and good receivers around them. And their opponents also handed them opportunities. You want to say those guys are therefore not winners?

I thought the NFC North could handle the young guy, but he showed he has heart and doesn’t give up. Thankfully my Lions didn’t disappoint like Minnesota and Chicago did. Not saying anything bad. I was thinking the NFC North was going to shup up the press, but no. Next year they’ll be talking about somebody else. It’s all about what have you done for me lately.

“arse handed to you”? the game ended in OT on a 50+ yard field goal, the 3rd one of the game. the losing team was without their starting QB and RB. and the winning team had 13 points total.

I don’t think that meets the criteria of an “arse handing”

All of you dillusional Bronco/Tebow fans need to shut the frock up talking about Brian Urlacher, a seasoned vet, that has the right to his opinion just like anyone else, as soon as Tebow’s luck runs out, you all will verbally asassinate him, as fair-weather fans often do. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, and what REAL man would say any other team is better than his own? That air must really be thin in Colorado, because all of yall are silly thinking Tebow won that game, Marion Barber and Caleb Hanie gave Pratter the opportunity to win that game, nothing more, nothing less. Chicago’s defense shut the “wonder-boy” down for 3.5 solid quarters, bad play-calling on the defensive end halted the shut-down. Get real people and watch football with your brains and not your emotions!!

He’s played 174 of 196 games. He missed 15 games in 2009 and seven in 2004. That’s it.

Tebow is lucky he plays at Mile High Stadium where K Matt Prater is spot on….frankly some of the kicks he makes, especially the long ones late in games, wouldn’t go in if they were in other stadiums

As a Cowboy fan I could say, Romo lossed the game for us when he over threw a receiver so wide open even Tebow would have completed the pass. Or I could blame it on Garrett for not calling time-out quickly enough as so many articles have points out. Or I could blame it on Ryan and the D for not being able to hold a 12 point 4 quarter lead. In other words, the Cowboys gave the game away, the Giants didn’t win it. But…that would be STUPID!! The Giants had to do something after the Cowboys made those mistakes, and they did a great job taking the opportunites handed to them.
One could argue the Broncos handed the game to the Bears, yet the Bears weren’t good enough to take advantage of those opportunities. So…please give Tebow and the Broncos the same amount of respect and admit that while the Bears made some mistakes, the mistakes didn’t lose the game for them. The Broncos took advantage of the opportunies those mistakes gave them.
