It’s Felix Jones’ show in the Dallas backfield once again.

Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray left Sunday night’s game in the first quarter with an ankle injury. He had to be helped to the sideline and immediately went to the locker room. It didn’t look good.

Dallas scored a touchdown shortly after that to take a 7-5 lead in the game.

The Cowboys aren’t the only team short a running back. Ahmad Bradshaw hasn’t played yet because of a “rules violation.”

UPDATE: The Giants now lead 12-7. Murray is getting X-rays and is questionable to return. Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins will have an X-ray on his shoulder.

UPDATE II: You can watch the game right here. Dallas had a 17-15 lead at halftime.
