Walked on at the UW; no one thought he’d make the team, let alone become a key starter. Same thing in the NFL. Just never gives up and has freaky athleticism – still remember him, at 5’9″ or whatever, winning a slamdunk contest on campus. Hope it isn’t serious and he gets back. Tremendous “small town kid makes it in the big city” story.
