Kitna was a hell of a backup and really surprising he never did anything big once he got into the nfl. I mean the guy wasn’t even drafted and the first year in european football he took the Barcelona Dragons to the 1997 World Bowl Championship (World Bowl V) and Kitna was named the World’s Most Valuable Player in that game.
I always liked the guy, wish him well in whatever he does after the nfl.

It’s too bad that Kitna never had the opportunity to be the starter on a contending team during his career. He did alot given the situations with which he was presented.

Kitna is a really good guy and did possess mental attributes as a QB that his teammates gravitated toward. He’s to be commended for carving out such a lengthy NFL career coming out of Central Washington University. Not too worried about McGee as the backup-he isn’t spectacular, but he can ball.

Things sure don’t look good for the Cowboys right now. Even if they find a way to make the playoffs, I can’t see them lasting long. Without an experienced backup, they are in thin ice if Romo goes down.

Kitna really threw for almost 30K yards? He was always good for a 6-7 game stretch then he faded faster than the Giants in Dec or Romo in the playoffs. Always seemed to be a class act. Wish him well.
