I’d rather the Raiders stay in their own stadium than share it with a franchise as soft as the 49ers.

Why? It’s not like you’ll ever attend a game either way.

Say oh mighty superfan, how many raider games have you been to?

JoeToronto always post on niner threads he is either an eagles or bills fan so please understand he doesn’t have any titles and so bashes on a organization with 5 of them. Get a life Joe and move out of your grandma’s basement what are you like 45 now.

I have been a 49ers fan my whole life. Some of my favorite memories are of John Madden doing the commentary for a Sunday afternoon game in Candlestick Park. Especially when Steve Young was the QB.
I have never gone to the Stadium for a game (live in ID), so it will be bitter-sweet when they go to their new digs.

PS: I don't think anyone wants to share anything with the Raiders. Besides, they wouldn't know what to do with a field without a baseball infield in the middle.

I think the minimum for a Super Bowl is 70,000, so I'm sure there will be a contingency to add 1,500 seats for "special events". Hopefully, if this is the case, it will be well-planned for, and not be another Cowboy Stadium debacle.

The comic value of having Raider and 49er fans share a stadium is way too priceless, so I really hope it happens.

Where are all the cries and complaints about the public funding of a NEW stadium for billionaires in California? $890 million from Santa Clara, and $110 million from the 49ers and the NFL.

Amazing how when discussing Minnesota's stadium issue, all we get is the "public funding of billionaires" dance routine.

i understand why sharing the stadium makes sense for the Raiders, but why would san fran need the raiders involved when they already have everything in place on their own. Just really would like to know how it would benefit the niners.

Some liberal or environmentalist will block this stadium and the Bay Area will have to start from square one. This has happened over and over again for the last 30 years. The Raiders will not share a stadium with the 49ers. I am sure Al put that in his will some where.

Just to let you know Al was all for sharing this new stadium, not sure if his son will be though, and the environmental stuff has all been done so that's a mute point too.
