RG3 is probably not going to Cleveland. Don’t expect them to draft another undersized QB after watching McCoy struggle. It’s no huge indictment on Griffin, but the size factor will be fresh in Mike Holmgren’s mind, and he’ll look for someone who physically resembles his more recent success, Favre and Hasselbeck.

Keep an eye on Ryan Tannehill with the Browns first pick, while the first-rounder from Atlanta could be turned into Michael Floyd, Nick Toon, or Kendall Wright.

Please don’t let it be Eugene Parker he will corrupt him.

Deion Sanders and Eugene Parker are bad influence case in point Michael Crabtree hold out, Des Bryant and his suspension from the NCAA.

There is more than anything moral reason too. RG3 is an incredible talent who under the right direction management and coaching wise could become the most electrifying football player!

If given the power I would trade the 9ers 1st round plus a second he is that good IMHO. All likelihood the cowboys will draft him.

He is a top 10 pick. He already graduated. There is not a lot there at Baylor for him to accomplish.

He was on with Letterman, and they were standing together at the end of his segment. Dave is supposed to be 6-1 1/2 and he looked to be at least as tall as Griffin. No idea about their footwear, though. I’m betting he comes in a tad under 6-2. Which isn’t the end of the world. Aaron Rodgers size.

I’m 6’1″ and when I met him he had about inch or two over me. We both had sneakers on, his listed height of 6’2″ seems dead on to me.

He’s a real humble kid and his parents are really nice. They have that “down home” attitude about them. When they were in New York for the Heisman ceremony , they wanted to visit the 9-11 site.

You can add the Cleveland Browns to that list. Given their remaining schedule, this will be a 4-12 team with a top 5 pick. The Browns do not just need a good draft, they need to create some buzz in the city surrounding the team. A player like Robert Griffin III is certainly capable of delivering that. Colt McCoy’s ceiling is winning perhaps one playoff game with the proper amount of talent around him but it is clear that he is not and will never be an “elite” NFL QB, which is a requirement for winning the SB in the modern day NFL. See Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, P. Manning, E. Manning.

Griffin has a year of eligibility remaining because he missed a year with injury. Given his size, playing style, and body type, he should have about 10 years of eligibility remaining when he limps out of the NFL in his mid to late 20s. The degrees are from Baylor.

I think Mel Kiper has fallen below Todd McShay. Anyone else agree?

He thinks Vontaze Burfict is one of the best players in this draft. The Vontaze Burfict I saw this year wasn’t worth a draft pick, period. And he’s a headcase on top of it….he wouldn’t even be on my board.

And better yet….Kiper thinks NICK FOLES is a borderline first rounder. Ha! Nick Foles shouldn’t go before the fifth round.

I’d take Luck, Barkley and Tannehill over RG3.

He’s a project player coming out of the same air raid offense Graham Harrell did. He struggles between the hashes, and his short/intermediate accuracy is poor. Don’t be erroneously fooled by completion percentage

Good kid, coachable. But needs major work.

Miami might be a good fit because Matt Moore can be a stop gap. RG3 should absolutely not open the season as a starter. Ideally, he holds a clipboard for a year.

Canesfan, he’s actually already earned two degrees but somehow still has a years of eligibility left. But I agree: why in the world would he return to college so he can play football and take continuing ed classes when he can go pro (having gotten a great education) and instantly be a millionaire?
