I never understood people hating on Rosenhaus. How dare he negotiate aggressively and try to get a lot of money for his clients?!? Oh I forgot, everyone who says stuff like that “would play in the NFL for free” if they weren’t fat.

People hate on agents, but they forget NFL teams have some pretty slimy people negotiating for them too – ever hear of AJ Smith?

7-5 Miami team last year had 8 players drafted and 4 UDFAs.

There is a pedigree that comes with playing at NFL U, no matter what the record of the team is.

NFL coaches and scouts will always give considerations to guys from Miami because up or down they continue to produce solid NFL talent.

Overall Rosenhaus has probably locked up 30 or 40 kids trying to get drafted, because he always does. Hate on him all you want, and he is a piece of work, but the man works 365 days a year non stop, any hour, all over the country to be where he is at. He watches tape, makes calls, flies to meet clients, fixes PR situations, talks to countless NFL hopefuls. He works multiple contract deals simultaneously and never seems to muck em up. Could any of you do that? Seriously, that job, well its something id never want to do.

I get that America hates the U. What comes around… Whatever. But look at the talent that keeps flying off the shelves. While it’s an indictment on UM coaches for consistently having guys underprepared, look at a few recent guys like Colin McCarthy, Sam Shields, Leonard Hankerson, Orlando Franklin, etc. Most folks never heard of em, but they do now…

Point is that talents not a problem. Miller, Forston and Streeter will make noise. Miller and Forston? Bigger news than PFT Planet thinks.
