Peyton throws in pads, after practice

Peyton Manning was cleared to throw again, earlier this month.  And now he has been putting on the pads and throwing to teammates.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Manning spent part of last week throwing to teammates after practice, in pads.

Manning, who continues to recover from neck surgery, still wants to play this season.  To the extent, however, that he’s motivated by trying to help coach Jim Caldwell save his job, that may not be as critical if the Colts can hold on against the Titans.

How poetic would iy be if he came back the final week and they finished 1-15?

After watching this season, it’s pretty amazing he even made it to the playoffs 10 straight years with this dumpster fire of a team…
