Final thoughts on Ravens-Chargers, from Tony Dungy

Every Sunday, I shoot videos on the set of Football Night In America with Rodney Harrison and Peter King.  Rarely do I get to work directly with Tony Dungy.

This week, due to the fact that the Sunday night game was played on the West Coast, Tony and I did a video recap of the Chargers’ 34-14 win over the Ravens.

Here are Tony’s takes on what the loss means to Baltimore and whether the Chargers can continue yet another late-season push.

Did Tony explain why Jesus let Tebow lose?

Hey Ravens fans — after the way your COACH whined about the calls, don’t EVER talk about other fans complaining about the refs.

    Wow was that embarrassing, Harbaugh.

The Ravens are still the same team that many have thought are solid Super Bowl contenders. This game means nothing, other than it will be a little tougher now.

However, if the D plays the way they did against San Diego, it will be early curtains for them in the playoffs.

I still will not be surprised to see them in the Super Bowl this year.

One game does not a season make. Ravens clinched a playoff spot so they are assured of playing in the second season. Many if not most teams can make that claim at this juncture!

Eff the steelers pats and texans, the ravens will crush all y’all. And if San Diego comes to bmore, they are toast too. BALL SO HARD U FO LIFE

Suggs getting penalized for head-slapping a wide receiver, Ray Lewis making helmet-to-helmet hits, Harbaugh whining about the refs at halftime, and Flacco looking like, well, Flacco (in between whining about Tim Tebow being more popular than he is)… Ravens showed their true colors last night, and it’s not flattering…

What makes you think that anyone is coming to Baltimore this year? After that performance, you dirty birds should start preparing to travel this post-season….

Harbaugh is the biggest freakin’ crybaby in sports. He’s an embarrassment to grown men through out the world.

Ravens looks more like sparrows – and hey – for the Chargers: They finally hit on 16 cylinders, which they rarely do.

No matter – as the Bolts ain’t making the playoffs but are moving to LA LA land.

Thankfully he’s started making his comments AFTER the games. Everytime he opens his mouth before a game everyone realizes why he’s still an ex-coach. Without a doubt one of the worst color commentators in sports today.

i have not seen any comments by players or harbaugh that would suggest they are complaining after losing, as far as coaches on the sidelines, all coaches lobby the refs before and during the game.

burghman – just as you dirt-bag, loser squealer fans show your colors….why is it every comment that is pro-Squealers sounds if it is written by a third-grader?…well, must be the inability to obtain a GED and the fact that Sh1tsburg has no jobs so most have to work at KFC or Wal-Mart….not the meca of intelligence…nor is the Squealers population….keep pumping that gas loser!

Dang – this is almost getting personal in here. Well, at least Ravens fans are happy they can still secure home field advantage if they win out, since the Niners took care of business last night, righto?
