APThe Texans don’t have to wait long before they try to erase the memory of their rough loss to the Panthers.
Houston faces the red-hot Colts on Thursday. Indianapolis is attempting to win a game that will only annoy most of their fans.
In theory, this should be a blowout. In reality, the Texans are starting their third-string quarterback without Andre Johnson in the lineup.
Coach Gary Kubiak announced Tuesday that Johnson won’t play. Tight end Owen Daniels is also shaky to play after missing practice Tuesday because a sore knee.
The Texans need to win to keep hope alive for a playoff bye. We’re going to be very interested to see how they respond to what was their most disappointing game of the year.

This is terrible news if the only two guys on the team who can catch the football cannot play. This is bad. Andre was expected by Owen being out means the Texans will be running Foster and Tate every other down while mixing in screen passes to them also. Hopefully, that will score 21 points on Thursday.
^^ and I’m the first to not give a crap about you being first.
Andre’s better than Calvin.
Red hot Colts?
LOL!!
So with Daniels possibly/probably out, Dreesen will be a target for TJ Yates, right? Need to know for ffb playoffs. Thanks.
Does anyone care? Another “Great” Thursday Night match-up….
I have a feeling OD will play. I saw the play he got hurt on against Carolina, it was more of a funnybone style injury then a real one, will probably just be sore and tight for a few days.
cupopizza-
yes dreesen would fill in and hes been good this year. yates threw a ton of short passes to backs and TE’s last week
Fantasy Football Bust pick of the Year: Andre Johnson
and I took him instead of Brees …. Whatta Idiot
This team needs a receiving corps overhaul this offseason after we’re bounced in the first round.
Andre IS better than Calvin……………at standing on the sidelines watching others play while in street clothes.
As good as Andre is when he is on the field, he is developing an injury prone label. Hamstring issues are either due to a lack of conditioning and or lack of stretching, for an elite skill player that he is he has indeed failed woefully at that. And also i picked him in two leagues this year, guess that wont happen next.
You people are clowns…you judge a player based upon how well you do on fantasy football…get a life!
